2 choices to start your business
Paparazzi Accessories offers 2 options for starting your new business – a $20 Party Permit or a $99 VIP (Verified Influencer Pack). Either option allows you to begin selling Paparazzi Accessories as an independent consultant, but you need to know the math behind both choices.
$20 Party Permit
When you start with the $20 Party Permit, you are literally just buying the right to call yourself a Paparazzi Accessories Independent Consultant. You’ll be able to purchase your jewelry at Consultant Cost ($2.75 a piece), receive a free replicated business website (PaparazziAccessories.com/yourconsultant#), and access to Paparazzi Premiere for free, as well. You can then go ahead and purchase jewelry at the discount, receiving a free Hostess Reward for every 10 pieces you buy, plus whatever other incentives are going on at the time.
$99 VIP (Verified Influencer Pack)
When you start with the $99 VIP (Verified Influencer Pack), you get all the things in the Party Permit, plus 35 pieces of your choice and a Paparazzi branded undated planner and a branded pen. The VIP ships for free. I really love that you get to choose ANY 35 pieces you want in your starter kit…it wasn’t always that way!
The Math
Now that we know what the 2 starting options are for Paparazzi Accessories, let’s see which option works out better for you.
**Note: I am not including sales tax in any of these calculation.
Sales tax is always paid to your state by Paparazzi Accessories at your shipping address rate.
You can choose to recoup that cost when you sell the accessories (highly recommended).**
Let’s assume you are going to purchase 50 pieces to start in either kit option.
With the $20 Party Permit, you will pay $20 and then you will place your first order. For this order of 50 pieces, you will pay:
$50*$2.75 =$137.50
Shipping = FREE for all orders over $100
You will also receive 5 FREE hostess rewards (you don’t get to choose these). If there is a promotion going on (February 2025 has a special piece for FREE with every 25 pieces purchased), you may also be eligible for those pieces as well.
When you add all of these costs together, you will pay $157.50 for 55 pieces total (57 in February 2025), making your cost per piece $$2.86 (for 55 pieces – 50 plus 5 hostess rewards) or $2.76 in February 2025 (50 pieces, plus 5 hostess rewards, plus 2 Gimme the Glitz pieces).
With the $99 VIP, you will choose your 35 pieces, and then add on an additional 15 pieces, which will add an extra $41.25 to your order, making that initial order $140.25. Of course, shipping will be free. BUT, instead of receiving 5 hostess rewards, you do not receive any. (And in February 2025, you will only receive 1 additional piece as part of the promo).
When you look at the cost per piece for the VIP, it is $140.25 for 50 pieces, which is $2.81 or in February 2025, you would receive an extra piece, making it $2.75 per piece for 51 pieces.
Which Kit is the Winner?
Well, the math speaks for itself. The winner is the $99 VIP (Verified Influencer Pack) for price per piece. True, you don’t get hostess rewards in your kit, BUT the price per piece ends up being lower, meaning you win in the long run!
