Do your kids like to make things by themselves?
I know mine do! They definitely enjoy being able to “cook” their own food from time to time.
JRobbie and PPie both know how to create this yummy trail mix, which is also one of their favorite snacks.
We always keep ingredients on hand for this treat, so when they run out, they can whip up another batch!
Here’s what we put in our trail mix, all of which you can find at Aldi:
- 2 containers of dry roasted peanuts
- 2 cups raisins
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup pepitas
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Do you know what the best thing about trail mix is, though? If you don’t like something, you can just leave it out!
And if there is something that you do really enjoy? Add it in! Trail mix is flexible like that.
Simply dump your ingredients into a bowl, mix them up, and enjoy!
